Judging
Individuals drawn from business executives, entrepreneurs, ministries, academics,
and other suitable candidates will be asked to participate on a distinguished panel
of judges to select a winner in each category from a list of finalists. Members
of the judging panel must provide the award recipient selection process with the
independence required of such an undertaking.
The awards finalists are selected based mainly on their financial achievements to
date. The panel of judges will be asked to judge based on this information but in
particular judges will make their assessment based on finalists’ demonstrated flair,
innovation, originality, ability to overcome problems and their contribution to
the economy of Oman.
