More than 10.2 million cosmetic plastic surgery procedures were performed in the United States in 2009, up 11 percent from 2008. There is even the infamous dad Jon Gosslin that was given hair loss products early in the shows first years. This could have been a boon for hair loss products as stars and even every day consumers look to enhance their looks.
There are even sites that specifically follow the changes that many reality stars go through from the beginning of their new found fame to where they are today. Fans can follow along through popular sites like Twitter and facebook and then vote on the ones that feel have made the most changes and which ones that have gotten worse. It appears that more and more people are able to obtain their 15 minutes of fame thanks to simple changes in their looks.
